Review by Melissa Dalton Martinez
What the Single Eye Sees sends a strong message of hope. I know many of us are looking for ways to be more charitable, and this is a great book to begin that journey. Author Dr. Joseph Q. Jarvis dives into what faith, hope, and charity really means and how to have more of it in your life. For me, this book made me consider, what is charity? Does charity mean acts or service? Does charity mean giving to others? Yes, but there is more to it than that. It is a lifestyle mindset, and this book teaches us how we can keep that with us at all times, especially when the world around us has difficult things going on. In these tumultuous times, this book will teach you how to have more hope, because there is always hope, even if you don’t feel it or see it.
This book is a way to restore your hope and nourish your spirituality during trying times. As you strengthen your faith, you will also deepen your understanding and learn to lean into your faith and find ways to give outside of yourself. Anyone who wants to boost their spirituality or learn more about Jesus Christ, this is the book for you.
